What is a Minimum Viable Product?

Have you ever worked on a newly created version of a software that is only available for testing? It’s known as a Beta Version. It means that the software is not yet fully released. As such, there might be some faults in it and based on the feedback of the users, the software may be modified before full version release.

Minimum Viable Product is quite similar to that. In fact, they are almost the same. Minimum Viable Product refers to a product that contains just enough features so that customers can work on it. This is done primarily because the developer wants to know what the customer wants in the actual product termed as Maximum Viable Product.

Based on the Complaints or Feedback of the early batch of customers, the developer then decides whether to scrape the product, to just release or legalize the current version of the product itself or to modify the product further, to add features into it before its final release.

A Minimum Viable Product thus helps the developers understand the needs of their clients or customers. It is not, however, related to earning. The functionality of a Minimum Viable Product is just enough for the customer to work and its use is nothing but the understanding of the customer base. It allows the developers and coders to do the minimum amount of work but get the full benefits of knowledge gained thereafter.

To develop your Minimum Viable Product, you can always approach one of the best IT or software companies in Guwahati area.
